Well, technically I'm a catholic, that's what my parents say "You can't be something else cause you were baptised at a catholic church" But I think I'm an atheist. I'm not so sure what I am anymore, but I'm pretty sure it's atheist. Cause I'm a strong science believer but I also belive in the paranormal, and after lifes, and recarnations and stuff. Ghosts, you know, the like heheh. So I guess I'm a mix of atheist and if there's a name for the belive of afterlifes and reincarnations, I'm not sure what it's called if there is a religion with that belive. I don't know much about religion ^-^'

Haha, thanks! But...I've got a head start on you. I include The Hobbit in LOTR, though I shouldn't. Hobbit is actually my most read book, followed by The Moorchild (Eloise McGraw). I've read the hobbit (estimation) about 17 times.

I think that's a bit absurd. He is writing a YA fiction book. To go as far as to email him 'contradictions' is harsh and really ruins the point.

Also, whether you believe in global warming or not is not the question for the book. If the topic bothers you so much then I suppose don't read it.

I find it hilarious that there are so many people really full-out scoffing at the topic of global warming, and every periodical that should bring it up comes under cross-fire, but look at say, Wall-E. That movie brought up a lot of different cultural problems humans are facing in an almost dark humorous way, but no one seemed to mind.

And, for the record, I feel as though global warming has gone beyond simply 'warming' and is now the term that is often coined in direct association of the indisputable damage humans have done to the Earth. And I feel like JP will address that.

Whether you believe in GW or not, apparently it is likely that JP does, and I think it is wonderful that he is trying to spread the word and even offer solutions that kids could do in a non-confrontational and entertaining way. Kudos.

Within Temptation is one of my favorite bands! If you check out the Most Annoying Songs topic, you'll see I listed them as one of my favorite bands. Not only that, but Angels is one of their better songs. Every time I hear it it reminds me of the romance that was hinted at between Morgoth and Varda.
